Welcome to our French language and cultural exploration program in Moorea, French Polynesia! This program is dedicated to families and individual students seeking an opportunity to learn French while delving into Polynesian nature, tradition, art, dance, cuisine, and daily life. Students will learn, use, and interact with the French language, unlocking a profound understanding of unique lifestyles and perspectives different from their own.

Your French Language Holiday Includes:
  • Return Economy Airfares to Papeete: Fly with Air Tahiti Nui, including 23kg of checked luggage, meals, and beverages.
  • Meet & Greet: Receive a traditional flower lei upon arrival in Tahiti.
  • Accommodation in Tahiti: Stay 1 night pre and 1 night post (2 nights total) in a Tahitian Room at Kon Tiki Tahiti.
  • Accommodation and Meals in Moorea: Stay 12 nights at Fare Om on Moorea Island, a family-friendly hotel, with full board (breakfast, lunch, and dinner).
  • French Lessons: Enjoy 30 hours of French instruction for advanced, intermediate, and beginner students.
  • Daily Activities on Moorea: Participate in daily activities as outlined in the itinerary.
  • Weekend Exploration: Experience a discovery weekend on Moorea.
  • Transportation: Includes daily transportation to activity locations, bicycles for personal exploration during free time, return ferry between Papeete and Moorea, and return transfers between the International Airport and Kon Tiki Tahiti.

French Lessons and Evaluations

We offer three levels of courses (advanced, intermediate, beginners) with up to 6 people per group. A written placement test on arrival will determine your class level. Weekly written and oral evaluations will track your progress. Our team includes three experienced and certified FLE teachers (Français Langue Étrangère - “French as a Foreign Language”). Classes run from 8:30 to 11:30 AM, Monday to Friday. French will be spoken at all times, with exceptions for necessary explanations and beginners.

Accommodation and Food

We offer four double rooms with shared bathrooms and two with private bathrooms. Each participant receives a mosquito net and a fan. Full board (breakfast, lunch, dinner) with local and organic food is included in Moorea.

Activities

We offer a wide range of activities, with a different one organized each day of the week. The program will be adapted based on weather conditions and availability. A dedicated team of at least six professional staff, both permanent and part-time, will be on hand to accompany and transport participants to activity sites and provide translation when needed.
